Obituary of Eileen Patricia Orchard

Eileen Patricia Orchard of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. Eileen was born in Bassano, AB and received her education in Vulcan, AB. She moved to East Coulee, AB with her mother and brother Howard until 1956. Eileen resided in Calgary until the time of her death. Eileen is survived by her brother Howard Orchard of Calgary, her sister Angeline Brough of Cochrane, AB and her sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Ernest Shire of Lethbridge, AB. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and Max Orchard, four brothers and four sisters. “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; Courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.” Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James’ Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.)on Friday, July 29, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. the Rev.
