Obituary of Joan Cecilia White

Joan Cecilia White (nee Cunningham) of Calgary passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the age of 76 years. Joan was born on March 20, 1929 in Winnipeg, MB and was raised in Moose Jaw, SK. She loved music and enjoyed playing the piano. Joan kept her hands busy doing crafts. She also found pleasure in being entertained and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joan is survived by five sons and four daughters-in-law, Richard and Linda, Gregory and Joanne, Christopher, Patrick and Colleen and James and Lorraine; four daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Kenneth, Teresa and Douglas, Shirley and Donald and Katherine and Paul; twenty grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Pat Warren; as well as her many dear friends at the Carroll Place. Joan was predeceased by her husband Leonard; her daughter Jane; and her grandson Zane.
