Obituary of Walter Friedrich Zaiser

Walter Friedrich Zaiser, beloved husband of Mrs. Roberta Zaiser of Calgary, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, July 8, 2005 at the age of 89 years. Walter was born on May 6, 1916 in Kipling, SK. He grew up on the family farm and farmed as a young man for many years. He treasured these fond memories of farming his entire life. In 1964 Walter moved to Calgary where he later met Bobbie Charette, the love of his life, and they were married in 1980. Besides his loving wife, Walter’s memory will be cherished by his stepchildren, Sandra Brossard (Denis), Roxanne Kaiser (David) and Blaine Charette (Judy); seven step-grandchildren, Nate, Joel and Courtney Kaiser, Patrick and Blaise Brossard, Blaeden and Eliot Charette; and numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Mary; sisters, Mary, Elizabeth and Tillie; and brothers, John, William, Frank, Carl, and August. A Celebration of Walter’s Life will be held at Richmond Hill Baptist Church (7251 Sierra Morena Blvd. S.W.) on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
