Obituary of Talaat Tadros

Talaat Tadros, beloved husband of Nadia Tadros of Calgary, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2005 at the age of 62 years. Talaat was born on January 1, 1943 in Egypt. He worked as a Civil Engineer for many years and served his country at time of war. Talaat married Nadia in 1972 and they immigrated to Calgary in 1993. He was a loving and dedicated husband and father who took great pride in all his family’s accomplishments and always provided unending support and encouragement. Talaat enjoyed reading, collecting coins and stamps, he also had a deep appreciation of music. He was a courageous, wise and resilient man who had great vision. Besides his loving wife Nadia, Talaat is survived by his son Rami Tadros of Houston, TX; daughter Rasha Tadros of Calgary; his mother Angel of Egypt; brother Gamil and wife Fran, of Calgary, brother Rafaat and wife Nadia of Egypt, and Nagy Tadros of Egypt; nephews, Maurice and Mark Tadros, and Ragy and Daniel Tadros. He is also survived by his in-laws, Mourad and Nagwa Sorial, Boulos and Salwa Salama, Nader and Magda Botros, all of Calgary, Samir and Samiha Sorial, and Madgy and Mona Sorial all of Egypt. Talaat was predeceased by his father. Funeral Services will be held at St. Mina Coptic Orthodox Church (4208 17th Avenue S.W.) on Tuesday, July 12th, 2005 at 12:00p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.
