Obituary of Josef Kocowsky

Josef Kocowsky of Calgary passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the age of 91 years. Josef was born on July 25, 1913 in Horodyszcze, Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in 1949 and has resided in Calgary since 1986. Josef is survived by his two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and William Kravec and Martha and Barry Woods, all of Calgary; six grandchildren, Paul Kravec and his wife Pascale Lemay, Natalka Kravec, Steven Stott, Trevor Stott, Christopher Stott and Nancy Cassamajor; and a great-granddaughter Alexandra Kravec. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Anna Hoszowskyj; and nieces and nephews, both in Canada and Ukraine. Josef was predeceased by his wife Eugenia in 1998. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (729 – 6th Street N.E.) on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church (729 – 6th Street N.E.) on Friday, July 8, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev.
