Obituary of Grace Lillian Bridgett

Grace Bridgett passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Grace is remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Jan and Peter Vink; daughter-in-law Corinne Bridgett; and four grandchildren, Keri, Mark, Greg, and Kimberly. Grace was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bert) in 1999 and her son Robert (Robb) in 2002. Grace was born on December 31, 1919 in London, Ontario but spent most of her youth in Southern Alberta. While living in Nanton she met her husband Bert and they were married in 1943. Bert’s career took them to several small Southern Alberta towns, finally settling in Calgary in 1952. Here in Calgary, Grace worked for the Bank of Commerce until retirement in 1983. Grace and Bert were avid golfers and were long-time members of the Highwood Golf Club.
