Obituary of Ashten Marie Berg

Ashten Marie Berg, beloved daughter of Lyle and Barb Berg of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 4, 2005 at the age of 18 years. Ashten was born on January 7, 1987 in Prince Albert, SK. She graduated from Sir William Van Horne High School in June 2005. At an early age Ashten’s love of music was very apparent, as she could always be found listening to music. She was a very caring and loving person. Ashten’s goal following high school was to attend University and major in Psychology. She had many friends and was always there to help anyone in need or just to socialize. Ashten is survived by her parents Lyle and Barb Berg; brother Greg Bader; sister and brother-in-law Jennifer and Trevor Dech, all of Calgary; her grandmother Diane Dempster of Prince Albert, SK; and her grandparents Roy and Fern Berg of Kinistino, SK. She is also survived by aunts and uncles, Bruce and Esther Dempster of St. Albert, AB, Glen and Terry Berg of Okotoks, AB, and Ken and Eileen Berg of Vancouver, BC; as well as numerous cousins and friends. Ashten was predeceased by her grandfather Hugh Dempster; and great-grandmothers, Jean Mitchell and Gudren Berg.
