Obituary of Walter Bruce Ruck
Walter Bruce Ruck of Calgary passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2005 at the age of 74 years.
Walter was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-seven years, Audrey Ruck. Walter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Doug Finlayson and their children, Kelly and Brett; as well as his son Tim Ruck and daughter-in-law Lynn McKee-Ruck and their children, T.C. and Alexandra.
Walter had over forty years of experience in the North American Petroleum Industry and had been involved in the major oil and gas discoveries at the Plato, Forgan, Greenan, and Senlac fields in Saskatchewan and the Ricinus West field in Alberta. His vision was instrumental in Ridgeway’s Petroleum Corp. discovery on the St. Johns Anticline. Walter was President and remained Chairman of the Board until his passing.
