Obituary of Charles Angus Chisholm
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Charles Angus Chisholm on Friday, July 1, 2005 at the age of 82 years.
Born in Antigonish County, NS on May 29, 1923, Charles moved to Toronto and finally to Calgary to be with his daughter and grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his wife Verna; daughter and son-in-law Marilyn and Michael Barbero;, and beloved grandchildren, Michael and Andrew. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Josephine Sullivan and Joseph Chisholm of Antigonish, NS, Lewis Chisholm and Argyle Chisholm of Newmarket, ON and Kathleen Hays of Winnipeg, MB; as well as numerous nieces and nephews across the country. Charles was predeceased by his parents William and Annie-Jane; and his siblings, Samuel, Edward, Blaise, Jean, Raymond, Mary, John, and Hugh.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Monday, July 4, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (640 – 19th Avenue N.W.) on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Krystian Golisz SDS and the Rev. William H. Trienekens, Presiders. Graveside Service to follow in “St. Joseph’s Section” at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
