Obituary of Elsie Merasty

Elsie Merasty passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in the loving arms of her daughters. Although cancer had ravaged her body the last months of her life, it never took away Elsie’s beautiful smile or sharp wit. She bravely faced each day and each setback with grace. Elsie will be forever remembered in the hearts of her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie, Sherry and Kent, and Bonnie and Maarten; as well as her seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter-in-law Pam; a brother and three sisters and also leaves behind Ernie, Rob, and her extended family. Elsie has gone to join her loving son Eddie, who predeceased her in 2003. Memorial Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, June 27, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
