Obituary of Deirdre Joy Slater
Deirdre Slater of Calgary passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2005 at the age of 75 years.
Deirdre was born on November 8, 1929 in Saskatoon, SK. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Deirdre is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Brian Kenneth and Joann Slater of Victoria, BC; her two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Denise Slater and Michael O’Regan of Gagetown, NB, and Susan Margaret and Ron Bergen of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren, Jaclyn Nicole Dorchak, Anna Deirdre Slater, Shelby Paige Bergen, Kenneth Derk Slater, and Austin James Bergen; a brother John Michael P. de Laroque; and her niece Erin (Michael) de Laroque Bovin. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth James Slater, and her son David Edmond Slater.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church (903 – 75th Avenue S.W.) on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. R.H. Grant Rodgers Presider.
