Obituary of Anna T. Talbot

Anna T. Talbot of Calgary passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2005 at the age of 101 years. Anna was born on September 6, 1903 in Helena, MT. The eldest of thirteen children, she met and married William in 1928. She has lived in Calgary most of her life and was involved in her community. She also worked alongside her husband in the construction industry as she was a very independent person. Anna was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening. In 1998 she moved from her home to live at the Mayfair Care Centre. Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, David and Joyce of Calgary, Norman of Sechelt, BC, and Stanley and Lynn of Calgary; five grandchildren, Kenneth, James, Kelly, Brian, and Leslie; and three great-grandchildren, Quinn, Nolan and Bennen. She is also survived by three sisters, Stella Williams, Bertha Seeley and Elnora (Ole) Olson; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband William Fraser Talbot in 1952. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, June 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
