Obituary of Donald Morris Hickley

Donald Hickley, beloved husband of Lenore Rogers of Calgary, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the age of 75 years. Don was a gentleman, in every sense of the word. He was a dignified and dynamic man who truly loved his family. He was born in South Africa where he graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University of Cape Town. He spent most of his life as a Canadian, working as a City Planner in Vancouver and Regina. Don is survived by his best friend and loving wife Lenore Rogers; his children, Moire (Jeff) Dunn, Catriona (Wayne) Weidman, Fiona Boulet, Mac (Andrea Czarnecki) Hickley, Kelly (Bud) Friesen, and Rena (Rod) Terry; six grandchildren, Aren, Nolan, Robert, Andrew, Fergus, and Laura; his sisters, Dr. Joan Bronte-Stewart, and Janet (Mike) Perrot; and a brother, Rev. Father Roger Hickley. A Memorial Celebration of Don’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
