Obituary of Matthew David Blain

Matthew Blain of Calgary passed away on June 7, 2005 at the age of 14 years. He will forever be lovingly remembered by his parents David and Simone Blain, and his sisters Monica and Claire. Matthew has a large and loving family who will miss him greatly. He leaves behind his grandparents William and Sandra Blain and Maurice and Valli Beauregard, his great grandmother Jeannette Beauregard, and many aunts, uncles and cousins that were very special to him: Michael and Deanna Beauregard and daughters Mikayla, Alyssa and Katrina; Monique and Brian Efonoff and children Brittani and Robert; Patrick and Lindsay Beauregard and sons Austin, Joshua and Kael; Bob and Michelle Beauregard and children Molly, Sam and Lucy; Troy and Jeannette Beauregard and daughters Paige, Jenna and Kara; Marjorie and Jay Parker and children Steven, Casey and Rachel; Robert Blain; Allison Blain and daughter Chelsea. Matthew was a well-liked grade eight student at St. Matthew’s School. He loved lacrosse, snowboarding, wake boarding, golfing, video games, babysitting his cousins, and spending time at Windermere with his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for his girlfriend, Danielle. His caring nature, laugh, smile and sense of humour will be missed by too many to count. Matthew was a precious, wonderful son and brother, and will always be his parents’ and sisters’ little Buddy. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, June 10, 2005 at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gerard’s Catholic Church (8944 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Rev. Gregory Coupal, V.F., Presider.
