Obituary of Pauline Bishop

Pauline Bishop of Calgary and formerly of Elnora, AB passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Pauline was born on October 28, 1925 in Colonsay, SK. Pauline worked for many years along side her husband Norman as owners and operators of a Jewellery Store in Moose Jaw, SK. She retired to Elnora in 1992 until moving to Calgary in November of 2004. Although Pauline enjoyed her time in Calgary, Elnora was always considered her home. She loved the small town and especially all her friends and the sense of community she enjoyed. Pauline is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Catherine Smith of Calgary, AB; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janice and Gordon Waldorf and Cheri and Ken Hermans, both of Fort St. John, BC., Bernadette Carter of Red Deer, AB; ten grandchildren, Shane and Christie Smith, Jen Louie, Ryan and Catherine Waldorf, Daniel Hermans, Nicole and Erin Carter, and Anthony and Aimee Skipp; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Eric and Cameron Louie and Julie Hermans; and brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Ethel Kripki of Prince Albert, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Pauline is also survived by her special companion Midget. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Norman; daughter Stephanie Smith; grandson David Hermans; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services were held at ELNORA COMMUNITY HALL (Elnora, AB) on Saturday, June 11, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service followed at Elnora Cemetery (Elnora, AB).
