Obituary of Margaret James

Margaret D. James (nee Woodward), beloved wife of William (Bill) T. James of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Monday, June 6, 2005. Margaret was born and educated in Winnipeg, MB and moved to Calgary in 1940. During her retirement years, Margaret and Bill enjoyed many trips throughout the world. Margaret was a long time member of the Glencoe Club, Knox United Church and the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She was proud to have been the third employee of a small, junior oil company that grew to be Dome Petroleum. In addition to her loving husband Bill, Margaret is survived by her brothers, John W. Woodward (June) of Winnipeg, and Charles F. Woodward (Mary) of Calgary; her sister Helen Saunders of Winnipeg, and a number of nieces nephews and cousins. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Charles F. and Helen “Nellie” Woodward and a sister C. Elizabeth “Betty” Woodward. A Graveside Service will be held at Queen’s Park Cemetery (3219 – 4 Street NW), Block 49, Lot 53, Section K on Monday, June 13, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
