Obituary of Bernice Hazel Bonke

Bernice, beloved wife of forty-nine years of Carl, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 28, 2005 after a lengthy illness at the age of 68 years. Bernice was born in Trail, BC on January 23, 1937. She married Carl in 1957 and together they lived in various places in Western Canada and have resided in Calgary for the past thirty-four years and recently moved to Cochrane. Besides her loving husband Carl, Bernice is also survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and Leigh Stone, Karen and Tom Molnar, all of Adelaide, Australia, and Joanne Sikina-Lee and Thomas Lee of Calgary; six granddaughters, Rachael, Erin, Demi, Logan, Carly, and Morgan; sister Irene Dacen-Johnsen and Steve Dacen of Calgary; and nieces Diana, Sharon and families. Bernice was predeceased by her parents Peggy Banica and Torbjorn Johnsen.
