Obituary of Maddalena Perrotta

Maddalena Perrotta of Calgary passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Maddalena was born on January 20, 1913 in SAN. Martino Di Finita Cosenza, Italy. In June 1960, she emigrated from Italy to Calgary with her husband and youngest daughter Maria to be with her children Giuseppina, Pietro and Paolina. Maddalena was a very hard worker in Italy. Maddalena enjoyed spending time with her family and lived for forty years with Peter and his wife Anna who took care of Maddalena through those years. Maddalena is survived by her children, Giuseppina (recently predeceased by her husband Antonio Pullano), Peter and Anna, and Maria and Carlo Mattucci, all of Calgary; and Paolina Paolucci of Prince George, BC. She is also survived by her brother Peppino Lanzillotta of Belgium and her brother-in-law Gaetano Pullano of Calgary, her thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Maddalena was predeceased by her husband Francesco, two sisters, Rosa and Aurora; sons-in-law Joe and Antonio; sister-in-law Maddalena and her great-grandchild Jenna.
