Obituary of Raymond Arthur Prevost

Raymond Prevost, beloved husband of Evelyn Prevost of Calgary, formerly of Port Daniel, QC, passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Ray was born on October 27, 1919 in Port Daniel, QC. He served in the Army, Transportation Division during World War II. He met and married Evelyn Mouland in England on May 19, 1945. In 1946 they moved to the family home in Port Daniel where they farmed and raised their family. Ray was a Foreman for thirteen years working for the Province of Quebec, Road Construction followed by thirteen years working as a Foreman for Stone Consolidated in New Richmond, QC. In July 2001 Ray and Evelyn moved to Calgary, AB. Besides his loving wife Evelyn; Ray is survived by his six sons and daughters-in-law, Doyle and Linda Prevost of Munster, ON, Royston and Sarah Prevost of Burnaby, BC, Kenneth and Janet Prevost of Nepean, ON, Ian and Lucinda Prevost of Kelowna, BC, Alan and Jeanine Prevost of Olds, AB, and Reg and Judy Prevost of Calgary; his daughter Dianne Jackson of Richmond, BC; twelve grandchildren, Jason, Meghan, Tamarah, Janine, Taylor, Chris, Jennifer, Simon, Sam, Danielle, Zachary, and Chelsea; a sister and brother-in-law Estelle and Hans Lenger of Hudson, QC; and a sister-in-law Elsie Prevost of Val Cartier, QC. Ray was predeceased by a son Robert Prevost in 1976; a daughter Patricia Prevost in 1983; three brothers, Omer, Elgar and Reg; and one sister Viola Dansereau. Funeral Services were held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.
