Obituary of Margaret M. Berry
Margaret M. Berry (nee Robinson) of Calgary passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at the age of 87 years.
Margaret was born on January 30, 1918 in Drumheller, AB. She was well known for her involvement with the Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede; and as Pianist at the Palliser and Westin Hotels. She was the Organist and Choir Director for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years and taught piano to many young Calgarians.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Patricia (Dale) Christensen of Carstairs, her sons, David (Elizabeth) of Calgary, Richard (Gail) of Peace River, Robert (Barbara) of Calgary, and Fred (Diane) of Hastings, MN; as well as eleven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be concelebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1307 – 14th Street S.W.) on Friday, May 20, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Edmundo Vargas, Principal Presider.
