Obituary of Russel Nickolas Theodore Pullishy

Russel Pullishy of Calgary passed away on Monday, May 16, 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 41 years. Russel was born on November 20, 1963 in Edmonton, AB. His sense of humour and love of life was contagious. He was a hard worker, working both at Canada Post, and owning and operating his own salon, Cobalt Hair Co. Russel gave freely to everyone he encountered, whether for a brief moment or many years. His dream was to spend many hours camping with Kelly in their new trailer. He will be deeply missed, but remembered for a lifetime. Russel is survived by his loving spouse Kelly; his mother Rosie Pullishy; his sister Valerie, both of Edmonton, two sisters and brother-in-law Judy and Randy Engel of Dallas TX, and Melody and Tim Murphy of Calgary. He will be remembered by his nephews, Derek Engel and Pierce Murphy as well as his dog, Emma. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Russell Pullishy. “If we love someone, we set them free” A Celebration of Russel’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29 Street NW, Calgary, AB T2N 4N2 Telephone: (403) 944 – 2433.
