Joyce Campbell

Obituary of Joyce Merilyn Campbell

Joyce Campbell (nee Spring), beloved wife and best friend of Grant Campbell, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, May 7, 2005. Although her homecoming was very sudden, she was doing what she loved best – enjoying a cruise with her husband Grant in the North Pacific. Joyce was born and raised in Magrath, AB. She loved to skate, swim and everything about the outdoors. They were married January 24, 1952 and lived in a variety of southern Alberta communities where she had her children. It was when first living in Calgary as newlyweds that Joyce and Grant committed their hearts and lives to Jesus. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Cameron (Louise), Kevin (Esther), and Colleen (Randy Allan); grandchildren, Stephen, Bethany, Christa, Vickie, Tiffany, Rose-Lynda, Taylor and Shane; and sister Helen of Kelowna. Joyce was predeceased by her father Jack, mother Lily, brothers Ken and Doug and her sister Ruth. A Celebration of Joyce’s life will be held at First Alliance (1201 Glenmore Trail S.W.) Friday, May 13, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. A Family Graveside Service will be held at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
