Obituary of Edward Robert Hewlett

Edward Robert Hewlett, beloved husband of Patricia (Pat) of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the age of 68 years. Edward was born on February 10, 1937 in Windsor, ON. He served in the Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada from 1957 to 1966. Following his service Edward worked for thirty years at Palm Dairy. He was also a vibrant member of the community and volunteered at the Calgary Food Bank in his retirement Edward is survived by his loving wife Patricia (Pat); and his beloved children Susie, Rob (Tammy), Randy, Rick, and Judy Baldini (Chris); grandchildren, Tamara, Christopher, Justin, Brian, and Bradley; and great-grandchildren Alyssa, Hailey and Destiny. He was also survived by four brothers and six sisters. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy; father Albert, and step-mother Jean; mother-in-law Joan Sweetman; and three brothers, Billy, Buster and Wayne. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 from 6:00 p.m- 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thurday, May 12, 2005 at 1:00 p.m..
