Obituary of Herbert Kenneth Goddard

Herbert Kenneth (Ken) Goddard passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Olds, AB on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Ken was born on November 6, 1919 in Cowley, AB. Ken was proud of carrying the rural mail for fifty-four years and made many friends over the years. Ken also was a Building Mover and moved hundreds of buildings in Alberta. Most of all, Ken was the proudest of his children. He was their friend, teacher, mentor, and resident jokester. Ken is survived by his loving wife of forty-one years, Rose; daughter and son-in law, Brenda and Tony DiMaria; three sons and two daughters-in-law Rodney and Kim, Steven, and Brad and Heather; thirteen grandchildren, Robert, Amanda, Christina, Shane (Marsha), Macey (Rhea), Jaimie (Brad), Kyle and Mikeala, Nickolas, Stephanie, Justin, Brandon, and Tyler; as well as two great-grandchildren Wyatt and Annica. He is also survived by three brothers Chesley, Earl, and Myrl; and two sisters Hazel Moritz and Opal Clark; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, too many to mention.
