Obituary of Frances Ann Rosser
Frances Ann Rosser (nee Gamble) our beautiful and loving Mum, Nana and Nana G passed away suddenly yet peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday May 6, 2005 at the age of 73 years.
Fran was born and raised in Winnipeg, MB. She came to Calgary looking for a summer job and decided to stay after meeting Gord Rosser – the love of her life for over fifty years. Fran had several jobs in Calgary but retired after years of service at the CIBC in Varsity Acres. She volunteered for the Special Olympics, Meals on Wheels and for many years was involved with Girl Guides. Fran enjoyed travelling with Gord and her family and spending time with her many friends.

Fran will be forever loved and remembered by, daughter Karen and her husband Norm Hurley, son Bruce Rosser and his wife LaurieLee; her grandchildren, Bill, Kari-Ann and Robbie Hurley; her great-granddaughter Shayla; her sister Doris Smith from Winnipeg MB; and numerous nieces and nephews. Fran was predeceased by her husband Gord in 2003.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Vincent of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, Presider.
