Obituary of Giuseppe Mancuso

Giuseppe Mancuso of Calgary, beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Giuseppe Mancuso was born on June 19, 1910 in Cicala, Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1959. Giuseppe enjoyed dancing, wood carving, playing various instruments, gardening, and spending time with his family. Giuseppe is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Francesco and Maria Mancuso of Italy, Giuseppe and Caterina Mancuso, and Angelo and Maria Mancuso, all of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maria and Tom Mancuso, and Connie and Franco Cianflone, all of Calgary; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Giuseppe was predeceased by his loving wife Giuseppina in June of 2000. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Sunday, May 8, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Italian and English Catholic Church (1714 – 14th Avenue N.E.) on Monday, May 9, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Mausoleum.
