Obituary of Stanley Edward Loschuk

Stanley Edward Loschuk, beloved husband of Mrs. Ruth Loschuk of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 2, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Stan was born and raised on a farm in Candiac, SK. He met his wife Ruth at Foam Lake, SK and they were married in Regina, SK on August 25, 1951. They resided there until 1962 when they moved to Prince Albert, SK where their son John was born. It was 1972 when they relocated to Calgary. Stan was a man of many talents – from auto sales to real estate, accounting, mechanics, electrician, carpenter, plumber; he was an all round handyman. He enjoyed life to the fullest, doting on his grandchildren who kept him young at heart. Stan said just before his passing that “life is too short.” Besides his loving wife Ruth, Stan is survived by his son John (and favourite daughter-in-law Michelle) and his three loving grandchildren, Mikayla, Benjamin and Alexandra; his sisters and brother-in-law, Kit Kosior, Angie and Frank Ziola, and half brother Frank Loszchuk and his wife Edith; as well as his sister-in-law Rose Loschuk. Stan was predeceased by his three brothers, Peter (lost in WW II), Felix and Joseph; and his sister Mel.
