Obituary of Mark Reginald LeGrow

Mark Reginald (Reg) LeGrow, beloved husband of Gwen, passed away peacefully in Calgary on Wednesday, April 27, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Reg was born in Broad Cove, NF on February 19, 1921. He served in the Newfoundland Regiment during World War II. After the war, Reg joined the Newfoundland Ranger Force and became a member of the RCMP. He spent his thirty-five year career in Newfoundland attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. Reg is survived by his wife Gwen, to whom he was married for fifty-three wonderful years; his son John; daughter-in-law Anna and her family; grandsons Christopher and Shane; brother-in-law Alun in England; sister-in-law Betty in Ontario; and nieces and nephews in Britain and Ontario Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.) on Monday, May 2, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at St. Thomas United Church (100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W.) on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
