Obituary of Peter Ralph Warring
Peter Warring of Calgary passed away peacefully in his sleep from heart failure on Thursday, April 21, 2005 in his 50th year.
Eleven years ago Pete got his first dog, an Australian Cattle Dog named “Joey.” Since that time Pete and Joey were inseparable. Pete loved to go for walks, rain or shine. He loved the mountains and walking along the Bow River. Pete was bright and had an inquisitive nature; from an early age he loved to read and was a creative person. Friends and family will remember how he loved music (he had a very eclectic collection of music) and also enjoyed movies. Those who knew Pete will remember his wry sense of humour and his ability to connect with people. Over the years Pete became quite a spiritual person through his many readings and discussion with friends. We will also remember him for his compassionate nature. After a great many years as a talented Chef, with a vast variety of skills, Pete changed his career and retrained in the Microsoft IT program and worked in the hi-tech field for the last six years. Peter will be greatly missed by all of his family and many friends.
Pete was the beloved brother of Robert (Kim) Warring of Smith Falls, ON; Carrie (Chris) Davies of Calgary, and Susan Leclerc of Ottawa, ON. He was uncle to Sean and Meghan Warring; and Lauren, Kate and Evan Davies. Pete was predeceased by his parents Ralph and Patricia Warring.
