Obituary of Wilma Jean Bain
Wilma Jean Bain passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Rosedale Hospice on Saturday, April 16, 2005 at the age of 48 years.
Wilma was born in Moosomin SK on March 16, 1957. She received the majority of her schooling in the Herbert/Morse area, graduating from Morse High School in 1974. She attended Saskatchewan Technical Institute in Moose Jaw where she received a diploma in Bookkeeping. Her career took her to Yellowknife, and Winnipeg, before she settled in Calgary in 1989, where she was employed by Douglas Cridland Interior Design for fifteen years. Wilma loved gardening, playing the piano, cross-stitching, on-line canasta, and especially a good game of crib. She looked forward to the Calgary Stampede, always attending the Chuckwagon races. She had a fondness for the Calgary Flames and the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Wilma had a special place in her heart for all of her nieces and nephews, and took pride in their accomplishments, always being a great auntie. For family celebrations she would take hours searching for just the right gift and card.
Wilma is survived by her mother Ada; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Bain and Cathy and Allen Forester; two brothers and a sister-in-law Ron and Ken and Carolyn; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Bill.
