Obituary of Thomas Lee
Thomas (Tommy) Lee, beloved husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Lee of Calgary, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 years, on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 holding on courageously to life till the end.
Tommy was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on December 16, 1920. He enlisted with the Royal Air Force in 1937 serving in WWII for six years in both England and Africa. He immigrated to Canada settling in Calgary. Tommy worked for Alberta Government Telephones until his retirement.
Besides his loving wife Betty of fifty-nine years, Tommy is remembered by his daughter Linda; sister Margaret Bell of Edinburgh, Scotland; and brother-in-law Alfred McLeish of Vancouver. He is also survived by family members in Canada and Scotland; and will be lovingly remembered by many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, April 18, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
