Obituary of Joseph Franklyn Charlesworth
Joseph Franklyn, (Frank) Charlesworth passed away quietly in his sleep on the Monday, April 11, 2005 at the age of 78 years.
Frank was born in Flagstone, BC on July 2, 1926 to Jo and Ruby Charlesworth. Frank grew up in Newgate, BC and later moved to the coastal town of Gibsons, where he lived for fifty years. He enjoyed working for the BC. Department of Highway in Gibsons and in the Lower mainland. Frank moved to Calgary in 2001 to be closer to his family.
Frank is survived by his wife and best friend for many years, Mona Charlesworth; his children, Susan (Rod) Hooge of Coquitlam BC. and Stephen ( Samantha) Charlesworth of Calgary AB; his grand-children, Brett, Nicola, Alex, and Reina; and also by his siblings in Newgate, Fernie, Langley, Victoria, and Nanaimo.
Cremation has occurred, and to respect Frank’s wishes, there will not be a Funeral Service. Interment will be at a later date. Many thanks to the staff of the Beverly Centre for their loving care. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
