Obituary of Leon Goretsky

Leon Goretsky of Calgary passed away peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at home, surrounded by his family on Monday, April 11, 2005 at the age of 83 years. He is survived by his wife of over forty-six years, Clarice, his sons, Wesley, Winston (Laurel) and Melvin; grandchildren, Luke, Emily and Carter, as well as his sister Olga (Tom) Earley, all of Calgary; and a brother Victor of San Diego. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen’s Park Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at Bethel Baptist Church (3325 – 49th Street S.W. Phone 246-1804) on Friday, April 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Maury McNeil, presider.
