Obituary of Dorothy Lyall Eisenbeis

Dorothy (Doll) Lyall Eisenbeis (nee Wright), beloved wife of Mr. Edwin Eisenbeis of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the age of 85 years. Dorothy was born on November 28, 1919 in Harborough, Lincolnshire, England and immigrated to Canada at the age of ten with her family. She loved crocheting, knitting, and gardening – she had a real green thumb. Dorothy will always be remembered as a true friend and devoted wife. She always made every occasion with family feel very special. Besides her loving husband of sixty-six years, Edwin, Dorothy is remembered by two sons and two daughters-in-law, David and Ruth of Sherwood Park, AB, Arnold and Diane of Innisfail, AB; a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Larry of Osoyoos, BC; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by two sisters, Freda and Marjorie; and a brother Derek.
