Obituary of Madeline Margaret Stewart

Madeline Stewart of Calgary passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the age of 92 years. Madeline and her husband, Harry spent most of their lives together in south-western Ontario (Dunnville, Welland and St. Catharine’s). After Harry’s death in 1985, Madeline moved to Calgary to be with her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Stew Kerby. Madeline is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Stew Kerby of Calgary, AB, and Diana and Siegfried Orlowski of Norland, ON; her grandchildren, Scott Kerby and Stewart John (Renee) Kerby of Calgary, and Heather (Brian) Dubiel and Cameron Huffman of Ontario. Madeline was predeceased by her sisters, Clara Jones of Welland and Irma Hayes of Toronto. A Private Celebration of Madeline’s Life will be held in Calgary. She will be interred with her husband in Welland, ON at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Madeline’s family express their gratitude to the staff of Unit 61 at the Rockyview General Hospital, and most particularly to all of her compassionate caregivers at the Beverly Centre, Midnapore (especially the Bridlewood Wing). Madeline’s love of, and generosity to, animals will be memorialized by an inscribed pane at the Calgary Humane Society’s new facility.
