Obituary of Dorothy B. Gerlitz

Dorothy B. Gerlitz, beloved wife of Ed Gerlitz, with whom she shared nearly fifty-nine years of marriage and mother of Don Gerlitz, Joan Keating and husband Ross, and Dave Gerlitz and wife Karen Young, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2005 at the age of 79 years, after a long fight with Parkinson’s disease. Dorothy will lovingly be remembered by her grandchildren, Allison and Kendra Keating and Ashleigh Gerlitz, all of Calgary. “We will miss you terribly, but we are thankful that you are finally at peace and we want you to know that you will live on in each of us to whom you gave so much of yourself.” A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, April 11, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
