Obituary of Maria Carmela Priolo

Maria Carmela Priolo beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother of Calgary, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at the age of 91 years. Maria was born in Gizzeria, Catanzaro, Italy in 1914. Maria is survived by seven children and their spouses, Lilla (Tony) Daprocida of Cranbrook BC; Joe (Anna), Antonio (Elvira), Salvatore (Linda), Catherine (Carmelo) Daprocida, Luigia, Ottavio (Angela) all of Calgary. She was predeceased by her husband Stefano Priolo in 1991 after fifty six years of marriage, and her son Carmelo’s passing in 1967. She was also blessed with eighteen grand-children and thirteen great-grandchildren. She will be forever cherished and remembered as a loving provider and matriarch.
