Obituary of Donald Parker Berry
Donald Parker Berry of Calgary, formerly of Berryton, NB, beloved husband of Mrs. Faye Berry of Riverside-Albert, NB, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Centre on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the age of 76 years.
Donald was born on December 16, 1928 in Berryton, NB. He had been a woodsman in New Brunswick. Donald’s greatest joy of in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. No matter what the situation was he had a reason for laughter.
Besides his loving wife Ellen Faye, Donald is also survived by his family, Wayne Berry and Donna, Ernest Berry, all of NB, Donna and Joe Morrisey, Phyllis and Donny Kirchhofer, all of Calgary, and Jennifer Berry and Brian of Nipawin, SK; six grandchildren, Stella, Melissa, Carla, Matthew, Tiffany, and Cody; a great-granddaughter DesirÚ; a sister and brother-in-law Marion and Floyd Wilson of NB; a brother John Berry of Edmonton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Albert Berry; two brothers, Ken and Reg; and a sister Lillian.
Donald’s legacy to live by was “There’s no such thing as “I Can’t.””
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Eastside Memorial Chapel (5388 Memorial Drive N.E.) on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Centre Street Church Main Campus (3900 – 2nd Street N.E.) on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Miriam Mollering, Presider.
