Obituary of Jacqualine Ruth Cecil

Jacqualine Ruth Cecil (Nana) of Morley has gone to be with the Creator and her stillborn baby she lost on February 15, 2005 on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at the age of 28 years. Jackie was raised in Morley and attended school at the Morley Community School. She was raised traditionally and loved outdoor living and sports. Jackie was employed with the Stoney Band Daycare. She leaves behind to mourn her common-law husband Murphy Powderface; four sisters and four brothers, Cissy, Alnora, Bernadine (Charles), Diandra (Jessie), Keith (Karen), Randall (Cynthia), Reginald (Valerie), and Dalroy; five uncles and two aunties, Joe (Verda), John (Helen), Franklin, Irby, Clarence (Margaret), Milan, Marvalene, and Yolanda (Floyd); Grandma E. Labelle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind to mourn three uncles and two aunties, Johnson Powderface, Fred (Beatrice), Gerald (Jenny), Mabel Powderface and Marlene One Spot; and relatives from Siksika and Eden Valley; Grandma Alice Weasel Child; three uncles and five aunties from Siksika. She was predeceased by her parents David and Joan Cecil; two brothers Laurie Cecil and Duane Cecil; one adopted brother Mitchell Lefthand; her loving grandparents Gordon and Eveline Cecil and Isaiah and Lucy Powderface; uncles Terence Powderface and Richard Powderface; and two nephews, Keith and Fergis. Wake Services will be held at her late Parent’s Residence on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 and Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley Gymnasium in Morley, AB on Friday, April 8, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bigstoney Cemetery in Morley, AB.
