Obituary of Mabel Oneil

Mabel passed away Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Bethany Care Centre in Airdrie, Alberta. Mabel was born July 30, 1921 on the family farm near Airdrie. She was predeceased by her parents William and Nellie Pole, her sister Marion Bowen and in 1989 by her husband Norman Hillyerd Oneil. She is survived by her brother Ronald Pole (Joan), her sons Dan (Vivyan), Brian, Bradley and Michael and her grandchildren Meaghan Kernaghan (David), Laurel, Gillian, Kaitlyn, Lindsay, Kayne and Jordan. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the Aspen wing at Bethany Care Centre Airdrie. Funeral Services will be held at Airdrie United Church (216 – 1st Avenue N.E.) on Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Calgary or the Airdrie Public Library Building Fund.
