Obituary of Betty Ann Lilly

Betty Ann Lilly (nee Steeves), beloved wife of Eric Lilly of Calgary, passed away while on vacation on April 1, 2005 at the age of 67 years. Betty was born on March 5, 1938 in Hillsboro, NB and has resided in Calgary since 1973. She enjoyed travelling around the world, especially cruising, and spoiling her granddaughter. Besides her loving husband of forty-six years, Betty will be remembered by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Janet Lilly, of Calgary, and Carolyn and Ralph Bodor, of Sherwood Park; and her beloved granddaughter Lauren Barker, the “light of her life.” Betty is also survived by two brothers, Tremaine Steeves and Peter Steeves, and their families, three sisters, Eleanor Taylor, Audrey O’Neil, Janet Girvan and their families; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, especially her niece Wendy Lunny. An Open House Celebration will be held at the family home on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. For further details please contact 281-5276.
