Obituary of Erwin Friedl
Erwin Friedl, beloved husband of Inge Friedl of Calgary, passed away in Inge’s arms, surrounded by his family, on Friday, April 1, 2005, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 70 years.
Erwin was born in Lindberg, Czechoslovakia. He spent forty-six years with Jager Homes as a Construction Supervisor and was well-known and highly respected in the construction industry.
Besides his loving wife, Erwin is survived by two daughters, Angela Friedl and Christine Friedl; a son Jeff Friedl; and three grandchildren, Mike and Mathew Warman and Amanda Fox. He is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Heinz and Ursala Friedl and their family, all of Germany; a sister Berta Bauer and her family, all of Pittsburg, PA; as well as numerous relatives in Germany. Erwin was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Henry.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
