Obituary of Walter Joseph White

Walter Joseph White of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at the age of 84 years. Walter was born on March 14, 1921 in Grand_mere, QC and raised there as well. In his early years his position as a RCAF Mechanic took him all across Canada. He loved hockey and was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens and his beloved Calgary Flames. Walter was a huge collector of Flames memorabilia. He also enjoyed planting trees, flowers and portrait painting. Walter’s family was everything to him; he loved spending time with them. Walter is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and John Sadler, Jocelyne and Anselm Busslinger, all of Calgary; and four grandchildren, Shawna, Marjolen and Eric, all of Calgary, and Joleen of Vancouver, BC. He is also survived by a sister Cora-Katherine Trussart of Grand_mere, QC; his sisters-in-law, Isabel Cunningham, Connie Frigon and Gysele Deschenes; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jiggs and Stella Saumier. Walter was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-five years Loretta.
