Obituary of Teresa Catherine Hannant

Teresa (Tess) Catherine Hannant, beloved wife of the late Bill Hannant of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at the age of 80 years. Tess was born on April 17, 1924 in Calgary, AB. She worked as an accountant in the Oil Patch for many years as well as serving as Chairperson for Scouts Canada and the PTA in Toronto. Tess is survived by her daughter Kim Hannant and companion Warren Graham; grandchildren, Larry Hannant and Marena Hannant; her baby sister, Rena Strome; as well as her aunt Rose DelMistro. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Neil on September 19, 2003; and her sister Meme Staples in 1998. A Celebration of Tess’ life will be held at the family residence (4656 – 85 Street N.W.) on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
