Obituary of John Arthur Hill

John Arthur Hill passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 after a long struggle with diabetes at the age of 43 years. John was born in Kingston, ON on September 21, 1961. John was very active in sports and loved to play hockey. His passion’s were fishing and cooking for his family and friends. The most important thing to John was his family and he loved his children with all his heart. John was a wonderful, joyous, caring and generous person who left a lasting impression on all he met. Through John’s long battle with his illness he still had a wonderful sense of humour and a beautiful smile. “John, you will be sadly and greatly missed. We love you!” John is survived by his mother and father, John and Shirley Hill of Calgary; three siblings, Tami (Michael) Pruett of High River, Josh (Loretta) of Deseronto, ON, and Stacey (Jason) Dean of Deseronto; three beautiful children, Lauralee Hill (Joe), John Arthur Jr. Hill, and A.J. Hill, all of Calgary; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and a niece.
