Obituary of Verona Hinch

Verona (Vera) Hinch (fondly known as “Squeak”) (nee Mosiuk), beloved wife of Mr. Dan Hinch of Calgary, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband, children and grandchildren on Monday, March 21, 2005 at the age of 71 years. Vera led a wonderful life helping others, laughing with family and friends and raising a beautiful family with her husband of fifty years. Vera was dedicated to and proud of her nursing career. She was respected by the staff, patients and families who came under her care. Vera loved her children, cherished her grandchildren and took particular delight in her great-grandsons, who thought the world of their Granny. Vera will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her many friends and colleagues. Besides her loving husband, Vera is also survived by her son and her two daughters and a son-in-law, Danny Hinch and Gwen Hinch, both of Calgary, Karen and Bob Dawson of Airdrie. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan Wilson of Calgary, Karyn Wilson, Robbie Dawson, Russell Dawson, all of Airdrie; as well as her great-grandsons, Shane and Reese Wilson, and Dayton and Caleb Wykes; her three sisters; four brothers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
