I will never forget that day. March 17th has been forever changed, no longer a day to celebrate St. Patrick but a day to offer a silent prayer to the families of two magnificent men lost. I lived in Yellowknife at the time, now Calgary and wonder occasionally if I’ve ever encountered your family in my daily activities. Whether I have or not I hope they know that despite your short time on this earth and on the job you made a huge impact on many who will never forget you. Peace, young man.
