Obituary of Michael John Gerula

Michael (Mike) John Gerula of Calgary passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the age of 79 years. Mike was born on May 22, 1925 in Edmonton, AB. He grew up there and as a young adult embarked on a sales career that continued throughout his working years. The majority of that career was spent as a hardware and gardening manager for Woodward’s in Edmonton and Calgary. Mike leaves behind his loving wife Lucy; his children, Michael of Toronto, ON, Cheryl and Karl of Calgary; and Mark and Henrietta of Helsinki, Finland. He will also be greatly missed by his grandsons, Jason and Jonathan of Calgary, and Justin of Toronto; by his brother and sister-in-law, Al and Sandy and family of Calgary; and by his sister Chris of Vancouver, BC. Mike was predeceased by his son John in 1975.
