Obituary of Mary Anne Casey

Mary Anne (Nana) Casey of Calgary passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at the age of 100 years. Mary Anne is survived by her children, Cecilia Casey, Helen and Larry Runquist; grandchildren, Tracey (Kelly Carson), Andy and Susan Runquist; great-grandchildren, Madison Runquist and Olivia Runquist, all of Calgary; one step-daughter in Wawanesa, MB, Madeline Baillie and her family. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar; sons, David and Terrance; and step-son Theodore. “Nana looked forward to her 100th birthday and she achieved that goal on January 17th, 2005. As an admirer of the Royal Family, a congratulatory card she received from Queen Elizabeth II went to the top of her list of possessions”. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church (835 Northmount Drive N.W.) on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Rolando Badiola, presider.
