Obituary of Anna Nusinova

Anna Nusinova, know by everyone as “Nulia”, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 18, 2005, surrounded by her family, four months after she suffered a massive stroke. Nulia was born in Minsk, Byelorussia and lived in Moscow, Russia for most of her life. She moved to Calgary in 1990 to join her daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. Nulia lived a full and happy life. She was a vibrant, strong, beautiful woman who brought optimism, laughter, joy and much love to all who met her. She was everyone’s best friend and she will be greatly missed. Nulia leaves behind her daughter Sonia and her husband Samuil; grandchildren, Irene and her husband Brian and Michael and his wife Nadia; and great-grandchildren, Zaren, Cyrus, Kathryn, Keva, and Tasha, all of Calgary. Nulia also leaves behind her son Vladimir and daughter-in-law Marina of Moscow. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Matvey and grand-daughter Liza. Services to commemorate Nulia’s passing will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
